Santa Barbara Back to St. Maarten

April 5th, 2008 · 3 Comments

mullet_west.jpgWell the trip to Santa Barbara was great and gave me a refreshing perspective on the life I’ve been living and this trip so far. On returning, the boat was fine, P Kiddy was as happy as a kitten to see me and Ben was a bit under the weather from living a bit too much of the good life while I was a way. I hope to write a better post in a day or two explaining my actions and thoughts, but unfortunately the wind and waves are way better then the internet here and it is a challenge to get a decent post online. The surf has been a solid 6 to 8 ft. and the wave kiting just going off at Gallion Beach on 8s and you have to get it while you can in the Caribbean, as it drops fast and stays down for awhile.

I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the people who saw me and made me feel so welcome back home in Santa Barbara. It was unreal to come back home and know how many great friends you have and how much people care about you. Thanks for the rides Eric, Jack and Karen for the Easter brunch and love, Kourtney for her friendship and Easter fun times, Travis and Lara for their love and enthusiasm for life, the Karry’s for their unreal dinner and perspective on life, Jake and Gabe for their everlasting friendship, all my friends at the Yacht Club and Robyn for just being her and caring so much. I hope to see you all soon again, whenever or wherever that might be and take care in knowing that you are all along with me on this journey of a lifetime. I truly love you all.  Peace - Kyber
