Mellow Wind Again

March 13th, 2008 · No Comments

The winds have subsided and its looking like today will be the day to head over to St. Marten and get some of the problems with our boat worked out.  Our friend “Mystic” who is a True Virgin Gorda Local is going to help us sail over there as he has a couple of days off from work at the Bitter End.  He has cousins and family in St. Marten and says were going to have a good time for sure.  So with any luck we will be off later today in search of more adventure.

But what do you do when the wind stops blowing hard enough to kite and the surf is flat?  You get your freind Nills with his Formula 40 cat and go wakeboarding and surfing behind it.  Super fun and it pulls you straight up as you use a spare hallyard off the top of the mast.
