Hi everyone,

Thanks for following our progress. It was pretty rough out there at times but I never feared for my life or freaked out. To be honest, I had a great time. I think our “shakedown” sail down from Newport gave me the courage to endure just about any conditions. I guess being the rookie of the crew meant that I didn’t have the burdon of a lot of responsibility, so I was free to unwind and enjoy the beauty of our unique trip.

I won’t write a long-winded description of our sail, just yet. I thought you all might want to see some pics, so I’m taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi here on the island. Sorry, I don’t have shots from our surf session yesterday. I had to take advantage of the 8-9′ faced sets myself after being cooped up on the Natty M for 10 days. I’ll write another post soon and include more shots from our sail and I’ll make sure to get some scenic pics of this beautiful paradise.
